According to "DECRETO 87/2015, de 5 de Junio, del Consell, por el que establece el currículo y desarrolla la ordenacion general de la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria y del Bachillerato en la Comunitat Valenciana", the activity of learning, and mainly the linguistic development, takes place through ICTs. Therefore, these devices are included in the "Currículo" and they are found as a helper to oral and written texts. 

What is more, the ICTs facilitates communicative competence, self-learning, self-evaluation, oral and written interaction in virtual contexts, among other advantages. Dealing, in particular, with the English subject, it can contribute to broadening the access to new materials, methodologies, procedures and research techniques. Moreover, these gadgets make possible a direct exchange within countries and scientific communities and help to create a collective identity of human knowledge.

In summary, it is a useful tool that has to be used in a multidisciplinary way through secondary education and Bachillerato.
